📲 How to Connect Facebook, Instagram & WhatsApp to DirectBookings.ai
Manage all your guest DMs and automate conversations across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp — directly from your DirectBookings.ai dashboard.
✅ What You Need First
Before connecting, make sure:
You’re logged into Facebook on your browser.
You have Admin access to your Facebook Business Page.
Your Facebook Page is linked to an Instagram Business Account (for IG DMs).
Your WhatsApp number is registered in Meta Business Manager (for WhatsApp setup).
🔵 1. Connect Facebook & Instagram DMs
Step-by-Step:
Inside DirectBookings.ai, go to: Settings → Integrations → Facebook
Click Connect.
A Meta pop-up will appear — log in and choose:
The Facebook Page(s) you want to connect.
The Instagram account(s) tied to those pages.
Accept all permissions and confirm.
Go to Settings → My Staff → [Your User] and assign the connected page to your user.
Done! You’ll now receive and reply to Facebook + Instagram DMs in your unified inbox.
🟢 2. Connect WhatsApp (Native Integration)
Step-by-Step:
Go to Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp.
Click Connect with WhatsApp (via Meta).
A Meta pop-up will open. Follow the prompts to:
Select or create a Meta Business Account.
Add your business name, display name, and category.
Enter the phone number you want to use (must be able to receive a code via SMS or voice).
Complete the verification process (you’ll receive a code).
Once setup is complete, the number will be connected to DirectBookings.ai.
✅ You can now send and receive WhatsApp messages natively.
⚠️ Notes:
You can only connect one WhatsApp number per sub-account.
Make sure the number hasn’t already been used for a personal WhatsApp account.
If needed, release it from WhatsApp mobile or Business App before connecting.
